SoapBox around the world

SoapBox in the United States

Your church, your giving, your languages.

SoapBox is a free church app for pastors and church planters in the United States.

Here is what SoapBox can do for your church in the United States, today.

Giving that goes straight to your church

Members give by card, straight to your church's own Stripe account. SoapBox takes no platform fee on donations, and Stripe's own processing fees still apply. They can give once, or set up a recurring gift. Donors can choose to cover the estimated processing fee. Guests can give once from your church's free web page, with no account. From the web app or Android, send year-end giving statements to your donors.

Members without a smartphone

Some of your members have a basic phone. No smartphone, no apps, no internet. SoapBox has a place for them too.

  1. Add them to your People list with a name and a mobile number. They need no app and no account.
  2. To reach them by SMS, export your People list with phone numbers from the web app or Android, and send through your church's own SMS provider.

In your members' languages

The app runs in Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and dozens more languages, and each member chooses their own. ORA, SoapBox's study assistant, answers Bible questions in Spanish too. It's a research aid, not a pastor.

The Bible, free

The Bible reader has dozens of English translations and Spanish Bibles such as the Reina Valera 1909, all free.

Sermons

Upload a sermon, and SoapBox transcribes it. On paid plans, it suggests short clips too. Amplify drafts posts from your sermons, and nothing is published until you approve it.

Plans

Paid plans add room for more members, pastor seats and groups.

Run your church

On paid plans, Team and Roles gives each staff member and volunteer only what their job needs. Run small groups and events. At check-in, visitors fill in a short form with no account, and land in Visitor Follow-up. Your church starts free, on a plan for up to a hundred members. Share your invite code by text or WhatsApp.

Questions

Not yet. Use the web app or Android.

Is the app in Tagalog or Haitian Creole?
