Here is what SoapBox can do for your church in Chile, today.
Members without a smartphone
Some of your members have a basic phone. No smartphone? No apps? No internet? No problem. SoapBox has a place for them too.
Add them to your People list with a name and a mobile number. They need no app and no account.
To reach them by SMS, export your People list with phone numbers from the web app or Android, and send through your church's own SMS provider.
In Spanish
The app runs in Spanish, and each member chooses their own language. ORA, SoapBox's study assistant, answers Bible questions in Spanish, as a research aid for study. It's not a pastor.
The Bible, free
The Bible reader has Spanish Bibles such as the Nueva Versión Internacional, the Nueva Traducción Viviente and the Reina Valera 1909, all free.
For your church
Your church starts free, for up to a hundred members. Share your invite code on WhatsApp, Facebook, by text message or email, straight from the app. Visitors who check in at the door land in Visitor Follow-up, and you can publish a free web page for your church.
Light on data
Data costs money. Turn on Data-Light Mode, and photos inside posts wait until you tap them: always on Android and the web app, and on iPhone whenever you're on mobile data. Bible chapters you've already opened stay readable on your phone, even offline.
Questions
How do I register my church?
Open app.soapboxsuperapp.com in any browser and register there: Chile is in its country list today. It reaches the App Store and Google Play apps with their next update. Members can download the app now and join with your invite code.
Can members give through the app?
Not in Chile yet.
Is the Reina Valera 1960 in the Bible reader?
Not yet. The Reina Valera 1909 is there, with the NVI, the NTV, LBLA and more Spanish translations.
Are paid plans discounted in Chile?
No. Churches in Chile pay the standard price. Every church starts free, for up to a hundred members.
Does SoapBox send the SMS itself?
No. Your church sends through its own SMS provider, using the list you export from SoapBox.
Can I export the list from an iPhone?
Not today. Export it from the web app or the Android app.
