What's New: August 6 to September 13, 2026

We owe you five of these. The weekly note stopped going out after August 5 while the work kept shipping, so this one covers everything from August 6 to September 13 in one place. Most of it is in version 1.19.18, on the App Store since September 8.

Moderation you can undo

Church leaders now hide a post instead of deleting it. A hidden post leaves the feed and comes back if they change their mind. If one of yours is hidden, you still see it, marked as hidden, so nothing you wrote disappears without you knowing. Deleting a post belongs to the person who wrote it.

Your language, on more of the screens you use most

Home, reading plans and the daily prompts now read in your language, and Today's Verse comes from a real Bible translation in your language instead of an English one. The last stragglers, like pending-approval notices, file pickers and step counters, are translated too. Five languages could crash any screen that showed a date; that is fixed.

The Bible, out loud

Play a whole book or a single chapter from the Bible screen you already open, see what is playing, and use chapter controls on the mini-player. Guided audio plans play the full day with narration included, read the whole passage rather than its first verse, and treat a two-part reference as the two passages it is.

Events: one door, one list

Hosts get a single door screen with one check-in code, one live count and one list, and the count now includes the whole room. Someone who is signed in but not yet a member can check in and is then invited to join the church. Guests use a short web form that asks for one way to reach them and says what happens next, and they land in Visitor Follow-up, where leaders can now see their contact details. Existing members are no longer filed as first-time visitors. Leaders can edit an event instead of deleting and rebuilding it, finished events stay visible, and each one gets an attendance report.

For church and ministry leaders

• Your leader tools open the moment you register. Add your team, build your community and share your invite code while your submission is reviewed. Giving unlocks on approval, and the app says so up front.
• An invite link tapped before signing in now lands people in the community that invited them, and every invite code a community has ever had keeps working.
• Churches can publish a public web page from the app and choose its layout.
• Schedule a sermon and it publishes itself at the time you set. Full-length sermon recordings now transcribe, not only short files.
• Donation setup has a permanent place in the console, so you can change payment providers whenever you need to.
• Accept a Finance or Communications role and you get a way into the console it opens for you. The console also names the church it opened.

Amplify: posts from what you have written

Upload a book, a chapter or any document up to 50 MB and Amplify drafts posts from it, now reading the whole document rather than its opening pages. Tell us where people can buy or read it and every post ends with your link. Connecting an account now switches it on, disconnecting a channel no longer strands its queued posts, and a draft that is waiting on you says so and takes you straight to Approve.

ORA

Coming back to ORA reopens your conversation instead of starting a new one. Answers keep their headings and lists instead of arriving as one block of text, and on the web you can now select and copy what ORA wrote.

On the way

Merged in the last few days and coming in the next update: password resets with a 6-digit code sent by email, MoMo giving in ten MTN markets instead of only Uganda, one notification per new event or post that respects the toggle, and faster church search.
