SoapBox is a faith community app for churches and their members. It brings sermons, groups, prayer, events and giving together in one place, on phones and on the web. Gifts go straight to the church with no fee from SoapBox. We are looking for one Ambassador in each country, so churches there have a trusted local person to go to.
What Ambassadors do
Nothing is assigned. You decide whether, how, when and where. Ambassadors choose from things like:
Introducing SoapBox to pastors and church leaders, and giving demos
Guiding churches as they set up SoapBox themselves, and showing their staff and volunteers how it works
Sharing SoapBox at conferences, fellowships and ministry gatherings
Giving presentations to denominations, networks and Bible colleges
Helping churches with their first questions about the app, and passing issues to our team
Telling us what churches in your country need, so the app serves them better
What we're looking for
5+ years in pastoral or ministry leadership, ordained or lay
Good working English, written and spoken, to work with our team. Where French, Portuguese or Spanish is the main language, fluency in it too. A local language is a strong plus.
Standing in your country's church networks: people take your call
Works well independently, and keeps in touch with our team by WhatsApp or email
Confident presenting to groups, from a small staff meeting to a conference hall
Comfortable with smartphones and apps, and patient explaining them to others
Your own phone and reliable internet access
How the engagement works
An unpaid volunteer role. You are not an employee, contractor or agent of SoapBox, and you cannot make commitments on its behalf.
No set hours, no targets, no exclusivity. You give the time you choose and keep your ministry and other work.
For the role, we provide a demo account, training and materials, the Country Ambassador title, and a direct line to our leadership. Ambassadors never handle money, donations or church members' data.
If SoapBox opens paid roles in your country, we will post them publicly, and anyone, Ambassadors included, may apply.
