Giving with MTN MoMo

Your members can give with MTN MoMo, straight to your church's own six-digit MoMo Pay merchant code. SoapBox fills in the payment for them. They confirm it with their own PIN, then tap to log their gift. The gift goes straight to your church. SoapBox takes no platform fee on donations, and MTN's own mobile money fees still apply.

Members without a smartphone

Some of your members have a basic phone. No smartphone, no apps, no internet. SoapBox has a place for them too.

Add them to your People list with a name and a mobile number. They need no app and no account.
To reach them by SMS, export your People list with phone numbers from the web app or Android, and send through your church's own SMS provider.

In your language

The app runs in French or English, and each member chooses their own.

Your Bible, free

The Bible reader has French Bibles and many English translations, free, and ORA, SoapBox's study assistant, answers in French, as a research aid.

For your church

Your church starts free, for up to a hundred members. Share your invite code on WhatsApp. Visitors who check in at the door land in Visitor Follow-up, and you can publish a free web page for your church.

Light on data

Turn on Data-Light Mode, and on mobile data, photos inside posts wait until you tap them. Chapters you've already read stay on your phone.

Can members give with Orange Money?

Not through SoapBox.

Is the app in Pidgin, Ewondo, Duala or Fulfulde?

Not today. The app is in French or English.

Can members give by card?

Not for churches in Cameroon today.

Does SoapBox send the SMS itself?

No. Your church sends through its own SMS provider, using the list you export from SoapBox.

Can I export the list from an iPhone?

Not today. Export it from the web app or the Android app.
